Using Masks in PSP9
Supplies needed
This tutorial is written presuming you have never used a mask before in Paint Shop Pro, and it is written in PSP9.
1. Open a new canvas 600x600 and fill white.

2. Click on 'layers' new raster layer.

A little box will pop up, you can give your layer a name if you like, if not, just click 'OK'

3. Flood fill this layer with a colour of choice.
4. Open up your mask in PSP
5. Layers, new mask layer, from image.

6. A little box will pop up. In the little drop down menu, look for the name of the mask you'll be using, I'm using
one of my own masks so I need to find the image named WSL_Mask360.

7. Once you find the image you'll be using as your mask, click on it, and make sure the little box 'invert mask data
is not checked. Click 'OK'
8. Over in your layers palette on the right hand side of your PSP, you will see the layer named 'mask' . Right click on it,
and a pop up box will appear, go up and click delete.

9. A little box will pop up and ask if you would like to merge it
with the layer below, so go ahead and click yes.

10. Back over to your layers palette, right click on the layer called 'group' and go up and click ungroup layers.

You're now ready to go ahead and make the rest of your tag or whatever your making lol,
you've just applied your first mask =oD
